On Wednesday, AMC’s The Walking Dead will premiere its second season, which stars Norman Reedus, Melissa McBride, Andrew Lincoln, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Lennie James, and David Morrissey.
The new season will follow the exploits of Rick Grimes, a post-apocalyptic wasteland in America, who must overcome his inner demons in order to save his hometown.
But it will be different than the last season, in which the gang struggled to overcome the effects of their shared PTSD.
“We’re all about to see some big changes,” executive producer Scott M. Gimple told Entertainment Weekly.
“I can’t wait for everyone to get their hands on it.”
Fans have already taken to Twitter to let their opinions on the new season be heard.
“This is the most exciting new season yet,” one Twitter user wrote.
“Can’t wait to see what happens next.
I’m also a little worried that we won’t be able to see any of the great characters we love from the first season come back.”
“The Walking Home” is set to return in 2019, but it will also mark the start of a new series that will premiere sometime later this year.
